Reporting into the Sr Director of Finance, the Strategic Finance Lead, will work for one or multiple portfolio companies of CSC to shape the decision-making process through providing financial planning and insights. Your work will impact future acquisitions, product launches, and help us scale. We’re looking for someone data driven and highly analytical who can quickly add value to our finance function. 

Your work will include:

• Building budgets for departments in tandem with department heads, and providing reporting on tracking vs. plan
• Developing and maintaining financial forecasts for the business, tracking key variances, changes, and opportunities in actual vs. forecast
• Maintaining the cashflow and operating model of the portfolio companies
• Collaborating w/business leaders to understand objectives and KPIs; tracking results vs. performance, and financial impact 
• Consolidating financial reports and providing insights on monthly and quarterly performance vs. plan
• Acting as a liaison between the finance office and other internal departments 
• Implementing processes, policies, and controls to improve our finance function
• Supporting strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis 
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end close to analyze and ensure accuracy of the financials

Our ideal candidate:

• 1-5 years of investment banking, consulting or FP&A experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or similar
• Extensive financial modeling experience required
• Can accurately forecast a business's cash flow. Is fluent in all 3 financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
• Preferred but not necessary Has covered or worked in retail, e-commerce, and/or at a holding company with multiple subsidiaries (preferred)
