Job Description

Primary functions:

  • Preparation, maintenance and some presentation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports to both internal and external audiences (e.g. Board of Directors, Banks, Senior Management, Business Unit Management)
  • Development and proactive continuous improvement of periodic management reporting tools, KPIs, etc. for consistency across businesses and for Senior Management consumption
  • Active oversight in all financial reporting compliance with applicable regulations
  • Direct contact with and management of audit relationship for areas of responsibility
  • Direct preparation of annual consolidated and subsidiary financial statements
  • Oversee the company’s consolidation system and processes


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports for both internal and external consumption.
  • Preparation and coordination with others for input of the annual and quarterly external reporting documents
  • Preparation of Board of Directors and Board Committee meeting documents/presentations
  • Maintenance of detailed debt covenant compliance calculations
  • Defines and implements with the approval of the CAO the Company’s accounting policies, procedures, including performing research and developing Company position statements for compliance with US GAAP for new and extraordinary transactions
  • Provide support and oversight for portions of the external audit activities related to all financial reporting responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of SOX compliance work, including internal and consultant work on controls documentation, testing, remediation, management approval/attestation, and external auditor review of all controls and financial reporting processes
  • Prepare quarterly consolidated Debt Compliance Certificate report and distribute to Treasury management.
  • Experience in working
  • Strong technical accounting/reporting skills
  • Taking point in the preparation and reporting against the annual consolidated plan.




  • Computer & software literacy for applications and systems (e.g. Excel, Power Point, One Stream)
  • Setting work priorities and management of multiple concurrent tasks
  • Working independently in the absence of supervision
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate regarding complex financial and business activities in the forms of oral presentation, written presentation, technical memos and short correspondence with internal and external parties

  • Ability to effectively lead discussions, meetings and present information in one-on-one and group situations to other senior managers, employees, and external stakeholders (owners, investors, boards, banks, lawyers, etc.)
  • Effective project management skills and management of projects across functions, locations, and time zones
  • Overall effective written and interpersonal communication skills (professional and otherwise)


Education and Experience:

  • S. or B.A college degree in accounting and 3 years of experience, or equivalent 5 years of experience in a public company setting for similar job responsibilities
  • CPA designation preferred but not required
